Lot's of good music at Dan Electro's this week.

THURSDAY Aug. 28 We start the evening off at 9:30 with Teri Greene & Friends featuring DON THOMAS. Don's New Orleans style of blues, funk, and soul is a crowd pleaser, and usually promotes an outbreak of dancing. Then at 10:30 p.m. Teri takes on his duties as Jam Master for DAN'S ORIGINAL BLUES JAM. There's always some good musicians to entertain you. NO COVER.

FRIDAY Aug. 29 is  a night of funk/ rock with local favorites PLUMP. These high energy guys will get you up dancing. Starting things off at 9:30 p.m. will be SUPER PANCHO COMBO who blend funk, jazz, and fusion. Then it's North Texas experimental/ funk/ fusion/ jam favorites CONGRATULATIONS. This group, comprised of some of the leaders of Denton's legendary jam band SOL KITCHEN, promise to have you shaking on the dance floor. $10.00

SATURDAY Aug. 30 it's the long awaited return of CAROLYN WONDERLAND. If you know Carolyn, we know we'll see you here at Dan's. If you don't know her, then show up for a major treat to your ears, as she is probably the best talent in the U.S. without a major label deal. Music critics from coast to coast extoll the talents of this multi instrumentalist with the otherworld voice. The days of seeing her up close in a small venue are coming to a close, so catch her while you can still say hi after the show.                                                                                                              How's this for an opener; Texas State Musician Of The Year, 2008, SHELLEY KING brings her top notch band to Dan's.
